Human Brain: The Computer of Our Body

Introduction

Within the human brain the most varied situations occur, such as: perception, imagination, thoughts, judgments, decisions, etc.

Knowing the human brain

The surface of the brain - the cerebral cortex - is made up of six layers of neurons (nervous system cells responsible for conducting the nerve impulse).

The brain wolves

The human brain has four areas known as the frontal lobe, parietal lobe, temporal lobe and occipital lobe.

The frontal lobe is so named because it is located in the frontal part of the skull. He seems to be particularly important for being responsible for voluntary movements and also for being the most significant wolf for the study of personality and intelligence.

The parietal lobe is located at the posterior part of the frontal lobe. It has an area called somatosensory, responsible for the perception of sensory stimuli that occur through the epidermis or internal organs.

The temporal lobe has a special area called the auditory cortex, as its name implies, this area is closely linked to hearing.

In the back of the head, more precisely in the nape region, is located the occipital lobe. In it is the visual cortex, which receives all the information captured by the eyes; Rather, your specialty is vision.

There are other areas of wolves that lack specialization, these are called the association cortex. In addition to these being connected to various senses and movements, it is believed that our thoughts are also processed and our memories stored.

The connection between the left and right hemispheres of the human brain is made by the corpus callosum (structure formed by bundles of neural fibers).

Curiosities:

- The area of science that studies the human brain, the mind and the nervous system is neuroscience.

- The left hemisphere of the brain of humans is responsible for logical thinking as well as verbal communication (speech).

- The right hemisphere is responsible for intuition, analogy and nonverbal communication.

- Each hemisphere of the human brain is related to a skill set. Therefore, the left side is responsible for the following skills: reading, language use, instruction following, fact finding, symbol identification and handwriting. The right side is responsible for the following skills: math, singing, music, artistic expression, creativity, emotions and feelings.
